Updates & Uninstall

Back up before updating or removing a UI provider used by other scripts.

Update the kit

  1. Download the new purchased asset through your Cfx/Tebex account.
  2. Back up config.lua, data/pause_news.json, custom media and generated installer backup/state files.
  3. Replace runtime/build files together. Do not mix old Lua adapters with a new UI build.
  4. Merge your values into the new config so new defaults remain available.
  5. Preserve custom images in build/assets/news.
  6. Fully restart when integration code changes, then test player data, menu selection, chat, pause, dashboard and vehicle telemetry.

Retain .fxap and protected files. No npm build is needed for the customer package.

Installer state and upstream updates

Successful installation writes a completion marker; resource reloads do not repeat installation. Failure writes no success marker. Preserve generated backup/state files for recovery.

Updating ox_lib, a core or a target may replace integrated files. Recheck the new upstream layout and follow release/support instructions. The installer does not promise to overwrite arbitrary forks safely. Back up before another attempt.

Uninstall

  1. Remove/update gameplay scripts calling Finals exports.
  2. Restore integrated library/core/target files from verified pre-install backups or the matching clean upstream version.
  3. Remove the Finals ensure; restore your chosen chat/HUD provider and start order.
  4. Remove only filesystem permissions no longer needed.
  5. Fully restart and verify restored UI flows.

Stopping Finals does not permanently revert every edited file. Native fallback is preserved where supported, but a complete uninstall should restore integration files. Do not restore a backup from a different upstream version without checking compatibility.

Source and licenses

The release includes compiled/minified browser UI, without editable frontend source maps. Keep dependency notices included. Cfx escrow protects supported resource files; browser JavaScript/CSS is delivered to clients and remains inspectable.
